• 1 kg PlantRevolt plant-based meatballs
  • olive oil (for frying)
  • 2 cans of crushed tomatoes
  • 1 celery stalk
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • salt
  • pepper
  • ½ kg of spaghetti

is one of the favourite dishes for Americans. In Europe, spaghetti is typically made only with smoothly minced meat. This delicious delish is definitely one to try, especially in the meat-free form. Our plant-based meatballs carry the original meaty flavor while being healthier and more environmental friendly than regular meatballs.

Preparation proposal

  1. Heat up some olive oil in a pan, add the PlantRevolt meatballs and fry them. Once they are browned on all sides, remove them and set them aside on a separate dish.
  2. Add the finely chopped onion, garlic, celery and bay leaf to the remaining oil and steam them until they become soft.
  3. Stir in 2 cans of crushed tomatoes. Add salt, pepper and simmer over low heat for about an hour.
  4. In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook some pasta according to package instructions.
  5. Remove the bay leaf from the tomato sauce, add the plant-based meatballs into the pan and cook them altogether for a few minutes, while turning the meatballs occasionally.
  6. Once the pasta is cooked, pour the sauce and meatballs over the spaghetti and toss gently to combine the ingredients.
